15U-18U College Prep Program

College Prep Program:

The College-Prep Program is a player development and exposure program that is dedicated to the promotion of elite high school players in the Tri-State area and beyond.  The 2023 season will be the Razorbacks 22nd year overall. Since our inception in 2002, 405 former players have went on to play at the collegiate level.  The Razorback Baseball Club's mission at the 15U-18U level is to provide dedicated coaches to train players to compete at their highest level while giving the players a true "target marketing" approach to their overall college exposure.  It is our goal as an organization to help our players reach their full potential on and off the field while striving to help them find a college/university that best fits them academically, socially, economically, and athletically.  The Razorback Baseball Club will do this by offering our players;

Player Core Strength and Agility Development

  •  SEC level Strength and Conditioning program designed by Division I coaches who have developed a youth and high school beginner/advanced strength and agility program for each of our players to utilize in detailed 12-24-52 week programs during the off-season/year.  This will also include a 90-day core strengthening program and basic nutrition guide.
  •  SEC Speed program designed by Division I coaches who have developed a detailed 12-week speed training program for each of our players to utilize during their off-season.

Player Development Tracking

  •  Annual evaluation days for each 15U-18U team in our program to record individual player performence/measurables to track individual player improvement and development. This system will allow parents/players to have an online evaluation system that will track all player evaluations, notes, and video in one online location.

Parent Information / Meetings

  • Bi-Annual 15U-18U parent meetings offered to each age group to discuss age specific material including; academics, player accountability, strength conditioning, agility, showcases, camps, recruiting, etc in a Q&A session.  Our goal is to continue to walk our parents through the process as the parents switch their attention from high school opportunities to the potential collegiate opportunities their son's may desire/have.  Our goal as an organization is to help our players and parents gauge and truly identify the level of desire to play at the collegiate level early in the process 15U-16U while educating the parents and players on the recruiting process overall.
  • Parents will receive complete online player evaluations after each evaluation day with all individual player measurables that will allow parents to see how their son is progressing individually and throughout the program.

Coaches

  •  All Razorback coaches will utilize the Pitch Smart guidelines from USA Baseball to help promote arm care.
  • All Razorback Coaches will have access to a SEC level developed in-season arm care program to help promote and develop healthy arms throughout our organization.  This seven day program will allow our players the ability to use the system on their own in conjunction with team practices to hold themselves accountable while learning the proper exercises and routines to promote proper arm care while in season.

Competition

  •  All Razorback Baseball Club teams will strive to compete against the best competition possible.  It is our goal as an organization to challenge our players on and off the field to reach their full potential by scheduling competition that will challenge us to perform at a high level to be successful.  This program will not chase trophies.  We want to teach our players to compete.  We want our players to experience failure  at times throughout the process to learn how to overcome adversity.  To succeed at the highest level, our players will need to conitnue to be challenged on the field and off as they continue to strengthen their overall work ethic and personal accountability for their future.  It is our mission as an organization to identify all potential collegiate athletes and help them reach their goal of playing at the collegiate level.

Recruiting/Exposure

  • Razorback Baseball Club has had the privilege of having 405 college signees since our inception in 2002.  The Razorbacks will not use their schedule as their sole marketing tool at the 15U-18U college recruiting levels.  Instead, we target market our players directly to the college's that fit their needs academically, economically, socially, and athletically.  Our privilege is to get to know your son on and off the field so we can better understand what schools may be a good fit for him overall if he chooses to pursue a potential opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.  Over the past eighteen years, the Razorbacks have developed a strong personal relationship with well over 55 different Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior Colleges throughout the Midwest and beyond.  We have had players attend 79 different college/universities across the Midwest and beyond.  All 15U-18U Razorbacks will have a Field Level account for their online player resume and recruiting.  FieldLevel is the largest community of verified coaches in the world. By combining our personal contacts with the Field Level database, we will have access to literally thousands of coaches nationwide that we can reach directly and who can actively search for our players online by skill set.  The Razorback coaching staff will work with all players and their parents who are receiving collegiate interest throughout the recruiting process until the player has committed and signed.  Field Level

The Razorback Baseball Club is dedicated to the development of our players.  Our coaching staff boasts a list of former collegiate players who have personally excelled in the sport and understand what is needed to play at the next level.  Our players will leave having learned that the good of the many out weigh the good of the one, that there is no I in team, that opportunity is not given but earned, that unity is gained through shared experiences, and that sacrifice for a goal is the only way to reach the goal.  The Razorback Baseball Club is not a club of eleven teams, but one family.  Thank you for taking the time to look over our program.  We look forward to hearing from you.  Potential Player Registration
