Congratulations to 17U "Backs" Drew Schapker, Landin Lis, and Charlie Hoffman on verbally committing to Oakland City University in Oakland City, IN.  Oakland City University is a NAIA program who finished the 2024 season (45-18) overall.  Oakland City finished the 2024 season by finishing second at the NCCAA National Championships.

    Drew will be a 2025 graduate of Mater Dei High School in Evansville, IN.  He excelled for the Wildcats as an outfielder.  Drew finished the 2024 summer season hitting .321 with four doubles and 10 R.B.I.'s.  He was a fixture in the corner outfield for the Razorbacks hitting between 2-6 in the lineup.

    Landin will be a 2025 graduate from Castle High School in Newburgh, IN.  He is regarded as one of the premier catchers in the Tri-State area.  He is currently the 12th ranked catcher in 2025 class in the state of Indiana by Prep Baseball Report.  Landin finished the 2024 summer season hitting .390 with two doubles, 10 R.B.I.'s and 10 stolen bases mainly out of the two whole for the "Backs".  Lis threw out 42.1% of the runners in 2024.

    Charlie will be a 2025 graduate from Mater Dei High School in Evansville, IN.  Charlie finished the 2024 high school season being named to the S.I.A.C. First-Team as an infielder.  He finished the 2024 summer hitting .319 with four doubles, one triple, and 15 R.B.I.'s.  Charlie is currently ranked 9th in the state of Indiana by Prep Baseball Report for third base.
