7U "Backs" Finish Weekend (4-0)

    The “Backs” finished the weekend outscoring their opposition (68-20).  The “Backs” hit up and down the line-up all weekend and played solid defense led by two diving catches by G. Shelton.  Highlighting a few of the offensive leaders from the weekend are;

• G. Shelton – Finished the weekend 12-14 with two doubles and 11 runs scored.
• C. Hammer – Finished the weekend 10-14 with five doubles and 12 R.B.I.’s.
• K. Evans – Finished the weekend 11-14 with four doubles and 11 runs scored.
• H. Belwood – Finished the weekend 11-13 with four doubles, nine R.B.I.’s, and nine runs scored.

Showing the depth of the offense, the 5-11 hitters for the “Backs” combined to hit (40-78) .513 for the weekend while driving in 29 of the 68 runs.  Congrats boys on a great weekend.  Remember to play hard and have FUN.
